Kerrville, TX. It is in the beautiful hill country.

Why did you decide to become an occupational therapist?

I worked as a rehab tech in a hospital during undergraduate school and worked with a hands therapist that just made OT sound like so much fun!! I love the creativity and different areas I can work in as an Occupational Therapist.

Where did you go to school for college?

I went to Texas Tech University for my Bachelors and Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center for Occupational Therapy school. Wreck ‘em TECH!

What is your favorite thing about working in pediatric therapy?

Getting to play for a job! Plus I love when a child meets a milestone and I see the excitement in their face and the caregivers.

When you’re not at work, how do you like to spend your time?

I like to spend time with my family and friends. I love the outdoors, four wheeling, going to the hunting lease or the lake, and playing baseball with my son.

Successfully managing a full time career and being a mom. Juggling everything is tough but so rewarding.

What makes KidsCare Home Health different from other agencies?

They have a great team that is so passionate about what they do and are so helpful. I feel so supported as a Clinical Manager and OT.

What is the best advice you’ve received for your career?

If you love what you do, then it really is not considered a job, because you are having fun!

What advice would you share with someone looking to become an occupational therapist?

Follow an OT around and do research to see all the different areas an OT can work in!

What is your favorite part about your current position as a Clinical Manager?

I love getting to be a support for all of my therapists and help them grow in their clinical skills. I enjoy doing site visits to meet the kiddos and their families and seeing their progress.

What is the best part of working at KidsCare?

The overall team morale! I know that we are in home health and work remotely, however I feel like KidsCare does a great job to keep everyone connected and part of a team!
