“We are at a time of unprecedented change in the way we deliver healthcare in this country,” shares Jerre van den Bent, Chief Executive Officer of Therapy 2000. “By uniting these two strong and stable organizations, both with exceptional clinical expertise and operational excellence, we will continue to drive innovation in the market that supports positive, cost-effective growth, with best outcomes for children in need of care nationwide.”

A Growing Need

Pediatric home health supports a rising number of children across the country from birth to age 21 with a variety of chronic and complex conditions, including developmental delays, neurological concerns, physical disabilities, and premature birth.

“This is an exciting opportunity to bring together two organizations that share a common purpose and culture centered on clinicians and the patients they serve,” said KidsCare President Erik Baker. “By combining our strengths, we are well positioned to continue expanding access to high-quality pediatric home health services to communities throughout the United States.”

Children receiving home health services benefit from increased skill development, reduced hospitalization, and greater family satisfaction. Additionally, families receive hands-on caregiver coaching during home sessions.
