KidsCare Home Health was founded on the belief that pediatric therapy is most effective when conducted one-on-one in a familiar environment that includes family members and caregivers. Although having our compassionate therapists and nurses directly involved in the lives of their patients is ideal, working remotely at each patient’s home doesn’t always offer the same sense of community and collaboration that a service center, clinic, or hospital environment affords.
Our commitment to creating a supportive community is unwavering. We strive to provide as much support as possible for each of our team members, including collaboration with outside resources. Our focus is on creating a village where everyone works together for the good of the patient. This approach not only supports our team but also ensures that each patient has access to the best possible care, utilizing every resource available. Ultimately, our goal for every child is the same: to help them reach their full potential.
Collaborative Care for Holistic Success
There is no better example of this collaborative effort than the “village” we are fortunate to work with in Colorado at BehaviorSpan in Denver and Aurora. Like us, BehaviorSpan began as a pediatric home health (ABA, specifically) provider. When they moved to a center-based service, they made a conscious effort to openly coordinate with other healthcare professionals providing high-quality services to their clients. This approach allowed our speech and occupational therapists to work hand-in-hand with BehaviorSpan’s team, providing children with a holistic care plan supported by professionals in all service areas. The result? Increased success with young autistic patients working with BehaviorSpan, KidsCare Home Health, and other supporting healthcare agencies.
Helen Keller said it best, “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.”
There is no “i” in healthcare. The goal is simple: helping patients with professional services wrapped in care and compassion. At KidsCare Home Health, we live by a mission of C.A.R.E.:
Commitment
KidsCare Home Health employees demonstrate a commitment to the pursuit of quality in service to our patients, their families, and our communities.
Accountability
Accountability is the consistent pursuit of a higher level of professional excellence.
Results
Results are the successful achievement of goals through hard work and determination.
Ethics
KidsCare Home Health employees will act in the highest standard of ethical conduct by doing the right thing – even when no one is looking.
This core commitment to C.A.R.E. drives our therapists in everything they do, including coordinating with other specialists to achieve the best results possible. We are grateful for the support provided by BehaviorSpan and other agencies operating in our service areas. With their help and reinforcement, we can achieve more and make a more significant difference in the lives of the patients and families we serve.
